This course teaches students how to study the Scriptures, develop sound sermon outlines, organize biblical material, and confidently preach God's word. Students will prepare and preach 15-minute sermons throughout the course, laying the foundation for future preaching classes

Brother Joshua Stephenson is the Pastor of Bible Believers Baptist Church in El Cajon, California. He was saved at the age of 5, street preaching at 10 years old, called to preach at 16, and called to El Cajon, CA at 17. He and Shannon were married in 2001 while attending Pensacola Bible Institute, where they graduated in 2002, with Josh receiving his Bachelor of Divinity. He has been pastoring since 2002, first as the English-speaking pastor in a Spanish-speaking church and as the founding pastor of Bible Believers Baptist Church since 2007.
